Utrecht has hosted many international conferences and organized tens of site visits throughout the city. Examples for ICUH2027 could be:

• Utrecht is ranked amongst the world capitals of cycling cities and was rewarded the title of most bike-friendly city in the world in the 2025 Copenhagenize Index
• Bringing back the medieval canal, that had been turned into a motor highway during the 1970s, illustrates that daring choices can result in biodiverse, healthy and climate adaptive nature in the city.
• Cartesius neighborhood is built according to blue zone principles and was selected for the pioneering places program of WEF.
• Edible neighborhood Rijnvliet, is a unique residential area with a food forest and where all green is edible.
• Utrecht Science Park: the research and education cluster on health and life sciences, including the project Healthy Heidelberglaan
• Station area: a new work and live neighbourhood next to the central railway station
• Bike tours along the world’s largest bike parking facility, bike lanes, and specific healthy urban developments
